M17 Capital Management
M17 Capital Management is one of the management companies of a single family office.
The family invests in public securities and funds as well as private assets such as private equity, venture capital, real estate and private debt - including several operating businesses.
For directly held companies, M17 manages the acquisition and works with management, oftentimes by helping to implement buy-and-build strategies. We only aim for controlling positions, yet are flexible in transaction structures. Our focus is to invest in stable companies which are undergoing change (incl. succession cases). If necessary or for very attractive opportunities, we can be "hands on", especially in cases of restructurings, turnarounds, carveouts or fast transactions, provided there is enough margin of safety, the risks are acceptable for us and we believe in a company's long-term value creation potential.
Our team comprises investors, seasoned entrepreneurs and deal-makers with backgrounds at leading investment houses, hedge funds, private equity firms as well as top-tier management consulting firms and investment banks.
